Support individuals with Acquired Brain Injury in a group home setting, assisting with personal care, activities of daily living, and help them to live their best life.
Duties include:
Develop rapport with individuals supported and foster their personal growth striving to obtain their goals Provide and maintain safe home environment Plan, implement and document teaching plans/strategies Skills/Abilities:
Patience Effective communication skills Passion for helping others
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older Valid US driver's license and ready access to a vehicle HS Diploma/GED or one year in the field Complete all initial background checks Complete pre-employment physical and TB test BFAIR will consider all qualified applicants without regard to gender, race, color, religious creed, national origin, physical or mental disability, and/or protected veteran status.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND MENTAL DEMANDS OF POSITION:
Because of the nature of the work to be performed, requirements may include the following at least some of the time while assisting individuals in the completion of their routine tasks.
Indoor and outdoor work is required.
