Scope of Position:
Works under the direction of the Chief Engineer in the creation of descriptive drawings for product development, application, and manufacturing.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

Creates accurate 3-D models from sketches or verbal instructionProficient with 3-D modeling at the end of first 120 days of employment100% drawing accuracyMust be able to perform at generally accepted drawing time standards.
Creates 2-D descriptive drawings to design department and industry standardsProficient with 3-D modeling at the end of first 120 days of employment100% drawing accuracyMust be able to perform at generally accepted drawing time standards.
Gain general working knowledge of all relative products offered within the division.
Basic product training through engineering manuals within first 60 days of employment.
Understanding of manufacturing capabilities and sheet metal tolerances and manufacturing limitationsGeneral understanding of manufacturing techniques and equipment within the first 120 days.
Proficient at 1 year Processes engineering change requests and engineering change noticesExcellent understanding of E.

procedures within 90 days of employment.
Performs other similar or related duties as required or requestedPosition Requirements:
The Designer I must possess the minimum knowledge listed below:
One year minimum of CAD Certificate or technical trade school with a focus on CADMinimum one year design experienceFamiliarity with AutoCADAbility to use computer software including Microsoft Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office SuiteFormal training in a 3-D modeling software, AutoDesk preferredHVAC experience a plusMust be creative, flexible and innovative team playerAbout the Company:
