Duties
:
The Shift Supervisor performs various care and security activities in connection with youth in custody of the Department of Youth Services. She or he observes conduct and behavior of juveniles assigned to the facility; maintains liaison with staff members, law enforcement agencies, professional specialist and others. They as a part of a team to perform and provide guidance and direction to Group Worker I's.
Assist the Group Worker III and in his/her absence assumes responsibilities for the operation of the assigned shift.
Supervises up to six (6) direct-report staff.
Conducts monthly supervision of direct-reports
Directs daily activities of staff and residents, plans, activities, and coordinates resources.
Ensures that all unit policies are carried out.
Ensures proper security, control and supervision.
Perform the physical requirements of the job i.e. restrains, CPR, etc.
Participates in staff meetings and training sessions.
Exemplifies positive leadership traits
Provides a positive atmosphere for learning and growth to all staff
Able to provide both positive feedback as well as corrective action to direct-reports via supervision.
Able to follow up and finish all tasks assigned by supervisor or administration.
Offers advice, guidance and attention to youth who struggle with emotional and behavioral issues.
Able to work as a team with staff from other shifts for the overall benefit of theEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
